Give Mom a Scrapping Day! (It’s free and she’ll love it!)
Does your wife or mother scrapbook? Are you a wife or mother who scrapbooks? Moms are so busy today. They cook, clean, work, blog, teach, fix, mow, volunteer, and there are so many other things to keep them busy. We are lucky when we find the time to scrapbook. We squeeze it in before the kids get home, or after they have gone to bed. We leave our pages half finished and hope to come back to them. If you want a perfect gift to give Mom or your wife, give her a scrapbook day. Just stay out of her hair so she can play in peace. I guarentee if your wife is a scrapper she will love this as a gift for her birthday or Mother’s day. It totally says that you know her needs and wants and care that they are met. Just take the kids to the park to play, or plan an outing. Maybe the kids and you can take care of that housework while she scraps. That will keep them busy and make Mom extra happy. Everyone knows that the gifts that mean the most are the ones that are personal. What could be more personal than a day that says we love and respect what you do with our photos, we think your craft is important and so are you. You don’t have to buy her anything, the effort will be enough, but if you want to go all out, buy her a gift bag of scrapping goodies, and give her a coupon that announces your intention for her for her special holiday(she can scrap that coupon). Maybe the day before you could take her to her favorite craft store to pick some wonderful papers for herself. Present her gift bag with breakfast in bed and then disappear. You will get to do something you like to do for the day and so will she. Ladies don’t forget to drop the hint. Maybe your special people just won’t come up with this on their own. Print this blog and leave it sitting somewhere they will see it. In this economy we are all getting down to what is really important to us, encourage your family to use their hearts and not their wallets. All the extras like flowers and candy (well maybe a little chocolate) are very nice, but if your special lady is a scrapper, just plain old time to scrap will be a gift she will cherish.
